i went to see some motion pictures with Ali, Mita, Rina, Rini, Ovi and Yumi (almost with Ika and her friend Kusmayadi and his other friend i didn’t get her name) last week on the 6th Jiffest. i watched Goodbye, Lenin!, Chicken Rice War, Broudeuses, Schultze Gets the Blues, Bridal Shower, Corte de Cabelo, and Monsieur Ibrahim. so sue me … i like comedy! this is my second time to purchase ticket online through internet from indonesian website. it was simple and easy. but i don’t think Indonesian accustomed to buy online since i got most of my ticket with serial number 000001 and 000002. well, maybe it’s because they just happen to put the first stack of ticket in my envelope. but my sisters said that i’m weird. i guess they just never experience the art of online purchasing. it really makes live easier! i don’t have to queue, i don’t need to bring cash … just transfer it, and no worries about not getting the ticket!
on one screening, we had a terrible incident. one audience who happened to sit next to and empty seat on my right hand side had these very smelly feet. i believe everyone within 2-meter could smell the stink came out of his feet and his shoes. it was very annoying and so smelly that these students in front of us repeatedly look back to see if this unconsidered person had the decency to put his filthy feet back to his shoes. i’m sure it made some of us lost interest in watching the movie. maybe there should be a sign before the entrance said that “Do not take off your shoes! (especially when your feet is smelly)”.
