weekend and valentine

A lot of things happening to me on this past couple of weeks. I went to see Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason with Mita. Since it was a premier screening in Plaza Senayan, it means another morning assembly!
The next day, my high school friend Heru is married to Ade and I just understood that he is from Sumatra. How come I didn’t know that? I always thought that he is from Java (West Java actually). He was very polite to say “I wish you happiness and soon will follow my step.” Come to think of it, I should be the one to say that. The I-wish-you-happiness and stuff I mean. Anyway, I wish them the best in life.
On Monday, I was planning to see my dentist but I had this project that I had to finish so … bubbay dentist. I’m planning to see the doctor this Monday, but I promise Fahmi to help him with his conversation practice. Well … I have to re-schedule that obviously.
Previously I was planning to go to the mosque for Islamic New Year’s contemplation. But … something came along and I had to stayed at home … I just spend the day watching the movie while the whole family went to Puncak for the holiday. Not the whole day actually, I went out to see my college friend in Blok M. It’s been a while since the last time I saw her. She looks the same but … I feel like there is something’s missing. Yet, I don’t know what it was, and now … I still don’t know. Maybe it is just me. At home I just watch MalÄ“na and later my sister said that I’m watching too many dreadfully depressing movies. She has a point there, but what can I say? … There is no such a thing as happy ending. I just don’t buy it!
Now … I’m waiting for Fahmi to pick me up for another class when he supposed to have candle-light dinner with Rika and their son Izhar. Well … some of us just lost that Valentine touch I guess. For me … it’s over ten years ago … But … Happy Valentine to those who celebrate it!
