... story

one particular song sometimes remind me of one particular person. like moon river reminds me of my friend’s father, here there and everywhere of mas rino, you of mas arief, runaway of melvin, whereever whenever whatever of sani, and against all odd of arman and dewi. maybe for some people remembering someone by song is rather unusual, but, that’s how i remember some of my friends. one favorite song of mine is “love story” the one by shirley bassey and it reminds me of someone in my future. maybe it’s because i love the story therefore i love its book, its film, and its soundtrack. besides who can argue about the story. i felt in love with the book first (Erich Segal - "Love means not ever having to say you're sorry") then the sountrack and not much for the film. but the film went all the way. it is one of the greatest film ever thanks to beautiful, sentimental, romantic tearjerker soundtrack and story. the hollywood should re-make this motion picture.

Love means never having to say you're sorry.
(He then walks out into a snowy Central Park to contemplate what life might have been in a touching finale, as the award-winning musical score builds in the background.)
