remember

We remember people the way we want to remember them. Whether it is the way they dress, the perfume they wear, the noise they make, their kindness on lending you a hand in time of trouble, the way they make you feel, or their small gestures. Maybe it is safer to think that they haven’t change a bit, rather than admitting that they actually look and act differently from the last time you saw them because they’ve met new people and read new books. How would I like my friends to remember me ... I’m not so sure. But when they said, I remember how nice you were, does it mean I’m not nice anymore? Have I lost it all? I met a few old friends today, with Neneng’s wedding day coming real soon! I’m happy for her and for her husband to be.
