togog

Went to see Teater Koma's performance last night with Mita and Rina. It was Republik Togog and it was for a good cost, all the money will go to Aceh and North Sumatra's Tsunami victims. Rina said that she is familiar with the story even to the smallest detail but could not recall what was the name of this play she saw in UK. Good news Rina, it's Moliere's Tartuffe and Sadewa Tumbal from Mahabharata. The story was about Togog, an insignificant person with an ambition to rule Amarta Kingdom. It was a play with a little taste of humour, light jokes, and a verbal movement and most of the audience burst out laughing. But I have to admit that it was too long of a play. What I can learn from this play is that Togog is in all places with different faces, today and tomorrow.
