Finished reading my copy of the latest and newly released Sidney Sheldon Are You Afraid of the Dark? novel (in Bahasa). He still has these heroines, sweet yet very cold, kind yet hardhearted, and independent yet emotional. Sheldon explains the technique involves in controlling the weather and causing danger. This is interesting, remembering that weather is from above while what we experienced in Aceh is from below. Maybe for the next novel Sheldon will write about what happen under the sea with all the conspiracies. And he also puts google in this story. Not the history of google, just a little hint to get information about almost everything. And about the character, I think we have a little bit of Diane and Kelly in all of us. But something troubling me, Wadah pemikir what is it with Bahasa? I know it is quite difficult to translate “think tank” and something is better left un-translated I guess. I saw the English version of the very book in Kinokuniya last year, a couple of months ago to be exact. Been meaning to buy the English one, but my Sheldon collection are all in Bahasa. Well … just stick to that. For Harry Potter, I’ll stick to English for all the previous five are in English. I’ve pre-ordered Rowling’s sixth Potter through Amazon last Thursday. I believe I have to wait until June or something for the book to arrive.
